Healthcare Is Not a Right
The Constitution gives all Americans the right to life, liberty and the fruits of their labor. It does not give people the right to everything essential to surviving. No one would argue we need food to survive, yet there is no right to food (we must use the fruits of our labor to purchase food through for profit companies or we cannot sustain our own life) No one would argue we need water to survive, yet there is no right to water (we must use the fruits of our labor to purchase water through for profit companies or we cannot sustain our own life) No one would argue we all need shelter yet there is no right to housing (we must use the fruits of our labor to pay for shelter through for profit companies or else we cannot survive the elements) No one would argue we need to heat our homes, yet there is no right heat (we must use the fruits of our labor to pay for heat through for profit companies or else we cannot survive) There is no right to commodities such as clothing and shoes on our feet. We PURCHASE these ESSENTIALS via the fruits of our labor. They aren't given to us, they aren't provided to us by Government, yet without them we cannot live. Why are these things not a right but health care is? Health care is a commodity (a service to be more specific). To assume we have a right to it one must also assume others (notably medical professionals and associates) are enslaved by government to fulfill our right. Home builders don't have to build homes for people who can't afford them. Landlords don't have to rent to people who can't afford it. Supermarkets don't sell food to people who can't pay for it. The oil companies don't have to delver heating oil to those who can't afford it. All these things are more directly related to survival than health care. The ultimate responsibility is to ourselves, to work hard (labor) and pay for our needs (fruits). This in and of itself is doing for others. When we take care of ourselves we do not burden others with our needs. Life is not fair, it never will be. To survive one must rely on themselves and no one else. Health care is no more a right than food, water, shelter and heat. All these things are essential to life and we must work in order to pay for them. Health care is no different. |

World Healthcare
Every person has the right to good quality healthcare. As long as humanity as a whole has the capability, and possibility to bring healthcare to the people, every time somebody dies, or suffers unnecessarily, a crime is committed against a conscious morality. The onus really is on those with the means to bring this fundamental utility, so, the criminal liability also falls on their shoulders. Every person has the right to good quality healthcare. |

Global warming and responsibility....
Whether global warming is a reality or not, one position belligerantly argues for irresponsibility, and shuns accountability, and another position tries to be more responsible, and accountable. Even if there is no global warming, the position that there is pushes mankind toward a more responsible end goal. What is the point of fighting it? Even if you believe it is a sham, work with the policies and ethics put forward by the environmentalists, as it is the responsible position to take. My proposition is whether or not global warming exists, the moral and ethical position is to work towards a goal of maximum responsibility, and accountability as if it were an emergency. We should be responsible because it is the ethical position, not because it is convenient and comfortable. |

Fundamental Universals to Live By
1. Breath, sleep, drink and eat 2. No killing unless in defense of oneself, or another in distress. 3. Incline toward charity So, if someone tries to prevent you from achieving your #1, your necessities, you automatically have the right to kill that person, because, that person is trying to kill you. If our individual personal necessities are met, then we turn our gaze to the other, and how we affect their necessities. We should do nothing to deprive the rights of the others #1 necessities. This rule of civilization is #2. After our #1 necessities are met, and we live in a social equilibrium of peace between ourselves, and the other, then we can turn our sight to alleviating class difference by helping the less fortunate. This type of thinking will naturally bring wisdom, and clarity over the long term. |

Honest offerings....
If a person is inquired of to answer about a subject in which they only know a partial truth, that person will either decline to answer, or, present the partial truth to the best of their ability. The person will not however use certain parts of that truth to drive any opportunistic agenda. Either offer a declination, or exhibit your most honest offering. |
